CoFAT 2022: M2Ms as an innovative outsourcing partner for automotive

At the end of May, our company took part at the Conference on Future Automotive Technology 2022 (CoFAT) in Erding, Germany, organized yearly by Bayern Innovativ GmbH.

Experts from the automotive industry discussed the current revolution in the automotive domain and the change of established concepts related to drive technology, the building of charging infrastructure, value and business models creation associated with mobility. The discussion took place in an innovation-oriented environment.

Martin Jančo, CEO of our company, introduced M2M Solutions during his speech as an innovative partner for outsourcing automotive projects with a portfolio of customers in more than 12 countries around the world. Together with Konrad Häusler, CEO of our subsidiary company Werksrevolution, they had an opportunity to discuss with German companies and R&D institutions in the field of new technologies in the automotive industry. During two intensive days they got to know the portfolios and innovative solutions of companies such as BMW, MAN Truck & Bus, VW, European Electric Bus Company and many others.

Martin Jančo says: "I was very impressed by presentations of Volkswagen and BMW. VW presented their vision in the current situation, in a world full of uncertainties. They presented a plan for a New Auto strategy, as they want to sell more electric cars by 2030. At the same time VW plans to become a sustainable mobility provider. Software is about to start generating a significant part of VW's turnover in the near future. Comparison of Tesla and VW presented by the Technical University of Munich shows that although Tesla is still the technological leader in the electric vehicle market, the difference when compared with VW is not as significant. This means that European car makers have a chance to catch up with Tesla. At the same time, I also found BMW's presentation on how passenger cars, an integral part of the energy system, can contribute to the goal of a climate-neutral Europe to be very interesting."

At the accompanying trade exhibition we also participated as one of exhibitors. We presented our innovative products and at the same time, we had an opportunity to build valuable contacts in many companies not only from Germany, but also from Slovakia. The participation of Slovak companies at CoFAT2022 was supported by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin through the project of economic diplomacy.
