Highlights of 2024 in M2M Solutions
2024 was a year of growth and significant milestones for our company. Here is a brief overview of the most important events that shaped our last year.
Digitalizing Logistics: The Successes Of TLS
We have successfully implemented the transport logistics system (TLS) in three other Slovak plants, specifically Adient in Žilina, Immergas in Poprad and Saneca in Hlohovec. At the end of the year, we also received a significant order from Continental for two more plants in Mexico and India.
TLS enables more efficient management and planning of transport operations, thereby increasing productivity, optimising logistics processes and at the same time reducing emissions. How does logistics process management contribute to sustainability?
The Warehouse Revolution: We Are Implementing Robotic Solutions
With our partner HIK Robot we are working on the largest AMR project in Central Europe, which is implemented in a 2500 m² warehouse with a height of 8 m. We have created 33,000 positions for different types of crates and implemented different types of intralogistics robots (CTU, LMR, FMR). The result is the ability to pick from 10,000 to 12,000 orders between 2:00 and 7:00 am.
This is also possible due to the deployment together with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) which revolutionizes the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations. The integration of the WMS with automated warehouses thus ensures error-free and timely processing of higher volumes of goods.
The increasingly high demand for our AMR solutions is confirmed by the start of several new projects, such as an automated warehouse for Tesco in Hungary.
The Future Of Logistics: Already With Us Today
As an integrator, we make sure that robotic systems work perfectly with our software solutions and are able to provide comprehensive automation and process optimization. This ensures that our technologies are not just stand-alone elements, but are fully interconnected and tailored to the specific needs of the warehouse. Month At The Fingertips: Membership Of EURO2MOON
We have also become a member of the EURO2MOON initiative, a platform for sustainable research and exploration of lunar resources. The aim of this initiative is to build a strong European industrial ecosystem for the use of the these resources, bringing benefits not only to the space industry, but also to various sectors on Earth. We are excited to be part of this ambitious platform that is shaping the future of sustainable space exploration.
Developing Talent: Investing In The Youth
In order to support young talents and develop professional skills in IT, we have been actively involved in a number of educational and competitive activities. As judges at the regional and national level, this year we participated in the FIRST Lego League and also in the Pronea hackathon in Partizánske. In addition, we mentored high school students in the Junior Coder competition held at the University of Žilina in Žilina.
At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FEIT) in Žilina, we opened a seminar on software testing, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, thus providing students with a solid foundation for their professional growth.
We consider these activities to be very important and have a long-standing commitment to helping young people reach their full potential and prepare them for success in the work environment.
We also greatly appreciate the special commemorative medal awarded to us in 2024 by the Faculty of Management and Informatics of the University of Žilina for our long-standing contribution to the development of the faculty.
Martin Jančo: Innovator of the Year 2024
Martin Jančo was awarded the prestigious Innovator of the Year 2024 award at the INOFEST event, which he considers a great success not only for himself, but also for the entire M2M Solutions company. As the leader of the company, he emphasizes that this award is the result of the collective efforts of the team and the creation of space for innovative ideas.
